Ray Miles Fortnum Private Wealth

Ray Miles

Founder & Chairman

Rich in achievements, Ray’s financial services career spans 51 years.

He has long held the view that all Australians should have financial advice which is tethered to his client-first belief system and an insistence for best-of-breed financial planners to constantly strive to ‘find a better way’ for the delivery of financial advice and outcomes which should always be in their clients’ best interests.

A highly respected member of the financial services community, Ray founded Associated Planners in 1989, arguably the most successful financial services business of its time. Associated Planners was sold to Challenger Financial Services in 2004 and changed its name to Genesys Wealth Advisers. By 2006 Genesys had 160 offices, 410 authorised Representatives and a turnover of $124 million.

In 2010, Ray founded Fortnum on pillars of leadership and a collegiate culture that has attracted an Australia-wide network of quality client-focused advice firms to its AFSL.
